Congratulations to Iain Wilson on winning the 1st Event of the Series.

Thoroughly deserved win as Iain hardly missed a ball all weekend and came through a tough run of matches to win it.

Overall myself, Stevie and Paul were delighted with everything and apart from a few late call offs for the early Saturday Session, which was totally outwith our control, everything went pretty much according to plan.

Big thanks to Susan and Staff for supporting these events as always, AS well as the EKPL, and a special mention for Stevie, for brushing and hoovering the tables on both days.

Also thanks to Jon McCrimmond for his Technical Aid in setting up the Live Stream.

PS. Apologies as the Stream went down midway through the final due to a server error! we should have the kinks worked out for the next event.

Finally guys, just a reminder that there are some spaces left to enter the Series, and I am also making a reserve List just now for Event 2 (2nd/3rd May), get in touch asap if you want in!!

Wilson beat livi, tam and Kev and purdy by good score lines. That's pretty impressive. They are all great players with the exception of tam. All of them. Tam can't play more than 14 minutes, his concentration just moves onto something happening outside.
I watched Ian in march and couldn't understand why he was in B team from what I saw. Really shaping up awesome.
