X2 Rules

Tournament X2 Rules
Cost - £25 per person entry fee (payable mid-March)
16 players in total.
2 groups of eight players. each group will be drawn randomly from the total 16 entries.
i will do the draw in public, and inform users on here of where and when so it may be witnessed.
Players who register with this league will not be permitted to play in other similar leagues at the same time, or they will be removed from this tournament.
When will it start? - The last day in March '07.
How it works:-
In each group (which is drawn randomly) each player will play each person in their group one time over 13 frames at their own choice of venue, sharing the table time between them.
AT LEAST 1 day prior notice of any match being played must be given to myself or Madmax by PM or phone.
We will then update it on the EKPL forums.
Once any match takes place, please arrange between you both who is to text me or Madmax the result.

0 points per loss
If 2 players are tied once all matches are complete then their head to head record counts first, then frames for will count. If its still tied then there will be a best of 5 frame play off to settle their placings. If multiple players are tied and cant be separated using head to heads then frames will count.
Once group placings have been decided the 1st placed player in one group will face the 2nd placed player in the other group and the 2nd placed player in the first group will play 1st placed player in the second group.
The semi finals and the finals will be played on the same day at an arranged venue when all 4 players have agreed they can attend.
Semis are best of 9 frames
The winners of the semis will play each other in the finals on the same day immediately following the semis
The Final is best of 11 frames.
I will add £45 of my own money to the prize fund.
16 players @ £25 = £400
+ £45 added in by Oby
= £445 PRIZE FUND
Prizemoney based on 16 players:-
Winner - £135
Runner up - £100
Both Losing Semis - £70 (X 2 players)
3rd place in each group - £35 (X 2 players)
Total Payout = £445
No Refunds will be given.
The Tournament will start on the last day of March
Each player must have played 2 matches or more before end of April
Each player must have played 5 matches or more before end of May
Each Player must have completed all 7 matches in their group before the end of June.
Any player failing to complete the above MAY remain on a frame difference of "0" for the remainder of the tournament, but will still keep their points and be able to gain points, but no matter the scores will finish the competition on a frame difference of "0".
The finals will be held at the end of June/during July (on a date all 4 players can make)
