Team X Rules

How it works?
There will be 7 teams in Team X
Each team will have 3 players registered.
If a team wishes to use a stand in player, they may do so, provided that the stand in player is a member of EKPL (before 20/11/07) and that the stand in player plays in the allocated slots (5 frames) of the person they replace.
A stand in player can only be used in ONE match over the course of the tournament.
If a team end up short, they can still play with 2 players, but will forfeit a 1-4 loss in the 5 frames not played (the last of the 5 frames recorded as a win)
Each match fixture will be played on one day/night, and must be played in section order (but can be played on more than one table to make the fixture take less time)
The cost per team entry is £70
Using a stand in (one time only allowed) wont cost any extra!!

During matches *** EVERY break is lagged for ***
all 15 frames are to be played out
Positions per group decided on points, then head to head, then frame difference, then play off, in that descending order.
Prior notice of any match being played must be given to myself or Madmax by PM or phone. Players can make arrangements for the same days play, but must contact us before 2pm on that day and receive confirmation the match arrangements are received.
Once any match takes place, please arrange between both captains who is to phone/text me or Madmax the result.
1 point per win, 0 points per loss.
Shortly after all group games are played, the top team will play the 4th team, and the 2nd placed team plays the 3rd placed team. The winners of those matches will contest the final to see who wins, and who finishes 2nd in the competition. The losers of those matches will play off for 3rd place prizemoney.
Venues and times to be arranged by captains.
The following is how the fixtures will be played out, with each player numbered in order of the way the teams were submitted. As theres 15, and NOT 18 frames, then each player wont play each person 2 times, so fixtures will be required. how these fixtures were made will be posted on the forums.

*** Remember that on the one occasion youre allowed a stand in to play, they must take the place order of the person they replace.
Team sheets of fixtures will be arranged and given to all captains.
The tournament will start on December 1st 2007.
All teams must have played at least 2 matches by 4th January '08
All teams must have played at least 4 matches by 4th February '08
All teams must have played all 6 matches by 10th March '08
Any captains having problems arranging games, please keep myself or Madmax informed.
any team failing to complete the above MAY in the first instance have their frame difference reset to 0 for the remainder of the tournament, and in the 2nd instance have a point taken off them, and in the 3rd, a further point taken off them.
*** Any decisions will be made by the organisers WRT any of the rules above, and alterations made only if absolutely needed
