Held on Saturday 19th February @ "Club 2000" (with help from Stu Robertson)

18 players paying £12 each for entry.

Players play off a rating.
Players will be rated by me.
Any potential player will be given their rating before they pay their entry.
Ratings wont change during the tournament.

Full entry fee to be paid to Oby by Sunday 13th February
The draw will be done @ The Entertainers match on Tuesday 15th February in front of witnesses.
The Draw and Times will be posted on this site on Wednesday 16th February.

During the draw ONE PLAYER will be drawn randomly to be the red player. The first person to beat the red player gets a £6 bonus. If he remains unbeaten then he gets the extra £6.

Matches will be first to 6 frames in the pre-lims AND last 16.
Matches will be first to 5 frames in the quarters.
Matches will be first to 4 frames in the semis.
Final match will be first to 4 frames.

Your rating dictates what amount of frames you start off in each match.
0 rating is the highest rating.
+2 is the lowest rating.

If both players are off, for instance +1 the they both start at 1 frame each.

Note
I have decided in any prelims/first round matches that see BOTH players on 2 frames start each, that instead of them playing 2-2 at the start and first to 6, they will drop down to 1-1. THIS IS THE ONLY INSTANCE THIS WILL TAKE PLACE.

ie. for all other matches/fixtures you start on your rating, but to give players rated two who are drawn against one another in the prelim/first round only more frames, they will effectively play off +1.

* I sold a football card which seen the winner (Stu Robertson) win the £10. I gave the £10 profit from the card to Lorraine (who runs the bar) for getting a taxi and opening the club earlier than usual for me. Thanks to Lorraine and Monty for arranging this and also Marty for supplying the card.
